Let’s get acquainted

I’m so glad to have you join me!  I’m Emily, your typical Type A personality, trying my hardest to balance a healthy, fit lifestyle with work, marriage and kiddos.  All while trying to make time for my personal passions and have plenty of fun with my little family and our loved ones.

I am a Certified Personal Trainer, and I love to cook.  So check in for quick and easy healthy recipes, and fast workouts that can be fit into the busiest of schedules.  As well as tips on managing a busy lifestyle, with a sprinkle of just for fun mixed in.

Why Pizza and Pull-ups?

Well, for starters, pizza is delicious.  Its quick and easy, and every one is happy. In fact, not long ago I was describing the healthy dinner I had planned to my toddler, who when I asked if that sounded good, shrugged “sure, but pizza would be better.”  So safe to say that while I strive for a healthy diet for myself and my family, we eat our fair share of pizza.

Pull-ups, because they are a personal fitness goal of mine.  I have always struggled with pull-ups, and have thus far been unable to do them unassisted.  Believe you me, as soon as I nail them, I will let you know!
