Midweek coffee date

Hey friends!  How is your week going so far?  So happy to see you today.  In case you were wondering, it did rain!!! The sunset aftermath was just beautiful!

sunset rain

I always enjoy “coffee date” posts.  Since I am getting ready to go see one of my oldest friends this weekend, someone I enjoyed countless coffee dates with back in the day, it only seemed fitting to have a coffee date today.  So grab some coffee (tea, smoothie, wine, whatever tickles your fancy) and let’s catch up.

If we were having coffee, mine would probably be iced.  Also, it is my third, but we are friends here, so that should not be a surprise.  I would want to hear all about your summer so far.  Have you taken any awesome vacations?  Do you have any coming up?

I would tell you how happy I am that I have been able to do some traveling this year.  I have always loved traveling so much.  But with having babies and the hubs in school, I have been pretty stationery the last few years.  My little trip coming up, and the weekends away I have had over the last few months have done me a world of good.

If we were having coffee right now, I would probably try to convince you to take a barre or yoga class with me.  Or maybe to hit up a spin studio I have been meaning to check out.  I have been enjoying a variety of workout types and studios recently, and it is really helping me stay motivated.  Have you found any new workouts you are loving?

I would definitely talk your ear off about the babies.  They are the sweetest, funniest little guys and I am so amazed with them every day.  I also cannot believe that my oldest is already three years old, where has the time gone!?!  I would definitely tell you what a little fish he is turning into, he always wants to be in the pool.  I would also tell you about my sweet girl, and how well she is talking these days.  It is so fun being able to converse with her.  I would want to hear all about how your family is doing these days as well.

What would want to talk about over coffee?  What is new in your life?

Thanks for joining me.

  1. If we were having coffee we would definitely be talking about the many places you wish you could travel and the places I have been 😉 who knows? Maybe we can make that a reality!

  2. My daughter is home for the week, going to spend as much time with her as possible, dinners, shopping, winery tours and the Kangaroo Farm!

  3. I love having coffee with friends! I don’t think I’ve done much of that in the past 8 years of becoming a mom. I would probably talk mainly about the kids, blogging, and how I need to exercise more!
