Easing back into the week + New playlist

Hey guys, how are you?  Thanks for joining me today!  Just a quick post this morning.   I stayed home with the little guy yesterday and just focused on taking care of him, so I have a bit of catching up to do today.   I think the day of rest and snuggles was just what he needed though, and I was very grateful to be able to take the day to care for him.  Thank you all for the well wishes for my little dude to feel better, it was very much appreciated!  It is so hard to see your baby not feeling well, and I am hoping he will be feeling 100 percent soon. He hadn’t really eaten the last couple days, so when he requested cookies yesterday, I jumped to make some.  I don’t want to rush summer out or anything (I want to keep wearing the summer dresses and sandals), but I am looking forward to Fall baking.

Today I thought I would share a playlist I put together last week.  This is kind of a random one.  I threw this together after getting a couple of song requests from some of the folks in my class.  I filled in the blanks with some throw back songs, as well as a couple of songs I had heard recently and enjoyed. Hope you find a new song or two you love!

Do you make playlists for when you workout?  Spotify or Pandora?  Also, have any workout songs to recommend?  I am always looking for new favorites.

Hope you have a great day!

  1. I’m right there with you with not wanting summer to end but also being excited for fall baking. a song that really helps me during runs right now is “Stacy’s Mom”. When it comes on mid run it pushes me and puts me in a happy mood.
    Have a great day 🙂

  2. I need to make those cookies! They look delish!
I have Pandora One and love it…it’s only $5 a month and totally worth it in my opinion 🙂

    1. Thanks, they are an old Better Homes and Garden recipe, they have such good cookie recipes! I have not tried Pandora One, but have a Spotify premium account and I love it.

  3. I’ve been listening to Apple Music playlists for workouts recently. They have full lists and many of them. Pretty fun to mix it up!!
