Happy Monday and October! How are you today? Did you have a nice weekend? We made the most of ours over here. I kicked it off with a Friday evening Orangetheory. I took the last class of the day, which is only a 45-minute class. It ended up being just right and I found that it being shorter than normal motivated me to push a little harder.
Saturday was a pretty big day. While I was teaching my class, the little guy started Itty Bitty sports. Right now, they are focusing on soccer. I was pretty bummed about not getting to watch the whole thing. But fortunately, they were still playing when my class ended, so I got to catch some of the cuteness. There was also a giant pumpkin in the lobby, which the little miss was pretty into.
After the morning fun, we went home and did some work around the house, ate lunch and relaxed a little bit. Saturday evening, we had a grown-up night out. My in-laws kindly watched the babies so we could go to an annual beer festival with some friends. I am not much of a beer drinker, but it was fun to sample ones from different breweries. They also had hard Kombucha! Which was pretty delicious.
Sunday, we picked the babies up bright and early, had breakfast and then headed to the park. The rest of the morning and early afternoon was spent on the regular chores and going through our Halloween decorations. I was pretty excited to have Craneo, my favorite piece of Halloween decor out and on display.
Sunday afternoon, my parents came for dinner, and to help us with a house project we are working on. It was the perfect end to the weekend.
What did you do this weekend? Do you usually decorate for Halloween? I am generally not super on top of seasonal decorating but love all the Halloween stuff.
Hope you have a great day!
