Holiday Workout Playlist

Happy Wednesday Friends!  We are halfway through the week now, hows your week going? I feel like the last couple of days have just been a whirlwind of work, momming and preparing for the holidays.  Tis the season I suppose.  Speaking of the season, are you a fan of Christmas music?  I must admit, that I really haven’t listened to much of it the last several years.  The hubs is not into it, and I just didn’t go out of my way to listen to it.

This year though, this year the babies are all about it!  So needless to say, I have been making up for lost Christmas music time.  While looking for some upbeat seasonal tunes, I had the idea to make a holiday workout playlist.  A little cheesy I know, but I am looking forward to using it for my class right around Christmas.  It is also great, upbeat background music while cooking, cleaning or for a holiday party.  I just love some of the remixes I stumbled across.  The DMX remake of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and the Sia song are two of my favorites and my little guy has been asking to listen to the Jackson 5 version of Santa Claus is Coming to Town all week.

If you prefer (and have Spotify), here is the playlist link.

Christmas music, yay or nay?  If you are a fan, what are some of your favorites?

Hope you have a wonderful day!

  1. I love that holiday song by *NSYNC! It puts a big smile on my face when it comes on the radio while driving. I’m a big fan of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You” (who isn’t) and Celine Dion’s “Oh Holy Night”.

  2. Love this! Just got an exercise bike and am definitely going to make use of this list! Thanks for putting it together 🙂

  3. This is awesome!!!! I know it will help me get out there when I don’t really want to go for a run but also feeling an audiobook. 🙂 Thanks for putting it on Spotify too! So handy!!

  4. This is so fun! I do like Christmas music, but I really like more of the modern remakes like Kelly Clarkson’s Run Run Rudolph (and her album in general). LOVE Nsync’s album. Such a classic for me, growing up around that time.

  5. This is awesome! I’m such a fan of Christmas music in general, but a workout playlist… that’s a new one 🙂

  6. OMG My hubby LOVES Christmas music. I’m hit or miss, I kind of like it but I also used to listen to it while I crammed for finals. Even though that was years ago the horror still comes back lol NEVER LISTEN TO CHRISTMAS MUSIC WHILE STUDYING!

    1. Lol, I could totally see it being a trigger if you used to listen to it while studying. I lost a huge chunk of my thesis during a storm related power outage like 7 or 8 years ago and it’s still the first thing I think of when I there is a storm with lots of thunder and lightning.

  7. Wow, I had no idea Sia had a Christmas song! I love Christmas music but I always stick with the classics, I might have to try this out now though because I absolutely love Sia.

  8. Christmas music>>> yay for like a couple days. Then I’m all… Bah, humbug. 🙂 But, all that said, I love your playlist! It’s upbeat and fun!! <3
