Happy, happy Friday!!! How has your week been? It has been pretty good over here, but I would be lying if I said I was bummed about it being Friday. I feel like I have been go, go, go all week and am ready for some downtime. I am also off Monday because of MLK day and am pretty happy about my upcoming three-day weekend.
This week has been a week of simple pleasures. I picked up this new to me Kombucha and wish I had grabbed a few more while at Target. I am pretty sure the brand is available all over, but this flavor is exclusive to Target. I had not tried apple Kombucha before. I am a fan, it was delicious!
This may just look like a regular orange, but this is a blood orange off of my grandpa’s tree. They are the best! My grandma brought me some not too long ago, and I have been enjoying them all week. They make a great snack and also make me feel all warm, fuzzy and cared for being from my grandparents.
This beautiful orchid was a birthday present and has had me smiling every time I catch a glimpse of it. I have heard that orchids can be hard to care for, so I am following the care directions to a tee and am hoping that I can enjoy it for a long time.

This Cajun vegan soup from Confessions of a Mother Runner just looks like such a perfect healthy winter dinner.
I love both pecan pie and oatmeal, so this pecan pie oatmeal from Looney for Food looks like a perfect breakfast option for me.
I really enjoyed this post from Skinny Fitalicious about why you need carbs. Because, as just mentioned, I need that oatmeal in my life.
So friends, what are you loving this week? Any big weekend plans? I am hoping to make up for lost time this weekend and get some great workouts in. I also have a book club Sunday that I sadly have not read the book for. I had every intention to, but the time just got away from me this month. I am still looking forward to the socializing and snacking part though!
Hope you have an awesome weekend!
